Foundation of Healing
Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center is based on the Traditions and Principles of the 12-step programs and the founding Oxford Group. The Four Absolutes – Honesty, Unselfishness, Love, and Purity and the guiding keys of the Beatitudes were the basics of the Oxford Group from which AA and other 12-steps programs originated.
Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center parallels the founding Oxford absolutes, the keys or attitudes to happiness, and the guiding principles of the 12 Step Programs into the four phases of their treatment.
Our Philosophy
We view alcoholism and addiction to be a manifestation of underlying issues, and without proper intervention, individuals may not recover or may not sustain their recovery.
Treatment requires a holistic approach. We address the interrelated components of the personality: the mental, the emotional, the social, the physical, and the volitional (or the will power) of the person.

We believe addiction is a chronic and progressive disease that affects the whole person: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We also believe that chemical dependency is a family disease, because family members and significant others are affected by a loved one’s addiction.

I've been here and witnessed this program and can honestly say it is the best in Louisiana Tanisha Kaitlyn Miss Effie Craig Aaron are absolutely the best counselors there! Kevin and Cory are great teachers I highly recommend this place and please do not believe the negative reviews this place showed me a new way to live and i cannot be more grateful!
